Housewright is a home maintenance tracker for iPhone. It ships with a library of 56 researched tasks — furnace filters, water heater flushes, dryer ducts, gutters, alarm tests — each with a sensible interval you can change, a short how-to, and a field for the specifics you always forget, like filter sizes and paint codes. Mark a job done and the clock resets from that day, with an optional note and a photo of the receipt, building a maintenance record you can show a buyer years later. Owners of more than one property can track a primary home, a rental and a cabin separately, with notifications that say which one they mean. There is no account and no subscription: Housewright costs $2.99 once, stores everything on device, and backs up through the owner's own iCloud account, so the developer never receives any of it.
Why it exists
Home maintenance is not hard to do, it is hard to remember — and most apps that promise to remember it want a monthly fee and an account. Housewright takes the opposite position: one purchase, no servers, and a task library and icon set good enough that the list is actually pleasant to scan.
